Our vision is to build a company that represents the best in people and cryptography. A company that will help our hometown, Nashville, become one of the world’s leading cyber security cities.
Friendships
I met Richard through my father in the early 1990s. Shortly after, the three of us became involved with a healthcare technology startup specializing in eligibility verification software and data transmission technologies for State Medicaid Departments.
After working together for a while, Richard and I pursued different opportunities but hoped to team up again in the future. Although we remained close as family friends, it took nearly twenty-five years to collaborate again.
Leadership
Marty Poe III
Co-founder and CEO
Marty is an experienced professional with a diverse background in family wealth management, healthcare, and the retail industry. Since ATOFIA’s inception, he has contributed to the company’s development of innovative technologies in the field of cryptography, authoring multiple issued patents and pending applications.
Prior to ATOFIA, Marty spent over a decade working in private wealth management. He specialized in creating asset allocation models and pursuing emerging technology opportunities. Before wealth management, Marty was a co-founder of Healthcare Networks of America, a company that created networking technologies for State Medicaid Departments and their participating provider population.
Dr. Richard White
Co-Founder and CSO
Richard has served in various leadership positions at all levels within the information security and threat intelligence fields in his thirty plus year career. He oversees and directs the evolution and advancement of ATOFIA’s cybersecurity technologies. Richard is a pioneering technologist in the field of keyless encryption, with multiple awarded patents and pending applications stemming from his research and development in the field of cryptography.
Before ATOFIA, Richard spent fourteen years with the Tennessee National Guard, specializing in network security, penetration testing, and advanced threat analysis. In the public sector, he has worked in the healthcare and transportation industry, gaining extensive expertise in Industrial Control Systems, SCADA, and network communications protocols.
